We had a small group at the start of this run.
My Samurai is on the right.
Me driving over some rocks.
The jeep had a altercation with a rock, his tire lost.
This is the canyon where we had to stop to fix the flat. We climbed up the canyon wall for this picture.
Here is one of the harder obstacles. I made it up with no bumping.
Here's Crazy Ray going up the same stair step with his stock SJ410. This thing can go about anywhere.
The trip leader took this picture. It turned out really neat with the sun at our backs.
Here I am with two wheel up in the air. We had stopped for a Kodak moment. The guy behind me got a picture as well but I haven't seen that yet.
We called this Range Rover Valley. There was a group of 12 or so Range Rovers stopped for lunch. My vehicle probably cost as much as a set of their tires.
These are the Coke ovens. Someone had turned two of them into cottages complete with carpet and a loft. The Jeep ended up getting another hole in one of his tires down by the river behind the ovens. We used my portable GPS to navigate to a road that was just off of our maps. This shortcut saved us about 4 hours of driving.
