The club had a nice turnout both in members and a variety of vehicles. I know it was my first time seeing a Land Rover in action and I was impressed. We all had a good time with the exception of my steering stabilizer, let's just save that story for another time...

Here's the first play hill we came across. The ruts up near the top were big, just about everyone got a tire in the air coming down this one.

Colby showed us how to climb this hill.

The other option down was covered with loose sand.

This was the bypass to the Waterfall.

The next hard obstacle was an area called The Waterfall.

There was certainly a chance for body damage here. 4 of us tried it. Gary Klingaman did a fine job of guiding us through.

The rock in the first sequence above caught me off guard. Thinking I was clear of the waterfall I started to accelerate. The rock tapped my rear spring hanger hard enough to knock me over onto two wheels. It felt a lot longer than this sequence shows.

Hills. hills and more hills....
