Two days after Christmas I led a run to the Lost World with the intentions of heading upstream to see what was up there. By the end of the day we had traveled maybe a half mile and the upstream portion of the Lost world earned itself a name: Unforgiven.

Coming up the big nasty hill (not named after anybody yet) on the shortcut.

Is this like leaving your coat at the door? A sign of things to come?

The upstream portion is chock full of rocks, and to top it off they move around very easily. Darrel pulled my friend Ken off of one of those pesky rocks and he wouldn't be the last one Darrel would rescue before the day was thru.

Hadn't seen Dave in a while, his Zuk now sported some flexy YJ springs front and rear.

Here's a shot of Mike hamming it up for the camera.

This was the first time running with Erik and I can tell it won't be the last. He just recently got his Zuk done (and it has all the toys) V8. Auto tranny, D44's, 36" TSL's, 1/4 elliptical rear and coilover front springs, sweet.

The first bit of trail carnage occurred shortly after Erik started crawling some pretty interesting lines. One of his brake lines broke. As you can see we used a vice grip to clamp off the line and Erik tie wrapped it to his shock so he could continue on.
Meanwhile Jim brought up the tail end.
