Trail Rating - 3.0-4.0
Trip Leader: Chance Gray

This was Chance's last AZ trail ride so after the ZOA run down trail 388 a bunch of us headed out to Trail 42 for one last trip.

I was also interested in getting the YJ equipped Zuks (YJ's all around that is) out on 42 and see what they could do. Dave's uses the Canyon State Components kit, shackle reversal up front and a normal shackle in back (soon to be missing linked).

Rick was loving the new gears, GRS I and 5.38's. He also tossed in a pair of lockers, talk about system shock. He has a very capable rig now.

Darrel impressed me. He hung in there really good considering this was the first difficult trail he has run with his Zuk. He just did a spring over and a rear locker, no gears yet but they are high on the list of upgrades. I think he is used to having to drive around the holes. In a situation like this you should straddle the hole to keep the vehicle level.

Ron is running a shortened set of YJ springs up front and full length custom 6 pack leafs in the back. His rig continues to surprise me with the amount of flex he gets. Add some wider tires and rims and he'll be set.
