Despite a hasty change in plans due to some unfortunate circumstances February's run turned out really well.  We had 6 member vehicles and 10 guest vehicle in attendance.  We all met at the Love's Truck Stop at Miller Road and I-10 and aired down in the parking lot.

This was a little warm up hill, typical loose Arizona sand and rocks.  The first mechanical casualty occurred as Nasser made an ascent of the hill.  As he neared the top his front tires stared slipping and there was a loud knocking noise coming from somewhere under the Jeep.  He cautiously made his way back down and started trying various transfer case combinations.  It was determined his four wheel drive was not working, maybe a chain in the transfer case had slipped or stretched.  it appeared to be ok to drive in two wheel drive so he decided it would be better to head home than risk further breakage.

We followed the power line trail for a ways until we came to this wash.  It's a nice short section of solid rock walls.  I led those who wanted to down the wash and the rest of the group provided a good cheering section.

This was a first time experience for a few of the drivers.
