March 2001 - Firebird, Lower & Upper

Dave king was dying to show me this trail he had run out in the White Tanks The trail is named after the Red Firebird that is buried at the end of Lower Firebird. I had just installed a new motor, head and cam the previous night so this was its maiden voyage, we set out with 27 miles on the odometer. Lower Firebird starts out easy enough, it is wide so there are plenty of lines to take.




This was Shane's friend Kevin. Talk about some wide axles! I really like how his rig was setup, tons of wheel travel both up and down, at first I thought the tires were 33's but they are 35's.




As you head upstream the wash starts to narrow. .
