December 2002 - Decapitator

Decapitator is a short boulder crawl with some small ledges and a really big wall at the top.  I'd guess the trail is only a quarter mile, maybe slightly more.

Chris's power steering was smoking a bit.  The trail is pretty tame to this point, then it starts climbing with the boulders getting larger as you go.

There are a couple tricky spots towards the end. Jack got wedged between a rock and a hard place in the second picture.

I gave the wall a couple tries.

One of the attempts I started to back down to try another line and I inverted one of the rear springs.  At this point I pulled the winch cable and pulled myself up the wall.
