Scott, a friend in the AZVJC contacted me a couple weeks ago about leading a group to the Lost World.  Despite having run it a couple times I haven't gotten tired of this trail since there are so many different lines to take.  We met up at the Wild Horse West bright and early Saturday morning, it was really windy.  We were hoping the wind would die down once we got to the trail.   We aired down just before Castle Hot Springs Rd. and left for the trailhead around 8:45 with 6 vehicles in our group.

Coming up the shortcut, it was pretty gusty still.  I don't think anyone had any problems on the hills.

At the trailhead, everyone who wanted to took their doors off.  It's not a requirement but you might as well if they come off easy. We decided to run the trail downstream in an effort to run the entire thing, then we would drive up the last waterfall.
