The first part of Rocker Panel Pass (RPP) is scenic drive along a small creek (now dry), followed by some sandy wash driving as seen above.

The start of the area this trail is named for, the trick is getting your differentials by the rocks.

After the first section there is a small boulder pile, again with perfectly spaced differential grabbers.  I ended up heading off to the right and took a little to high of a line, in went the clutch and down came the front.

The longer wheelbase rigs tend to drag their skid plates here.  Erik needed about another inch of clearance to climb this line.  He ended up working it to the right until he found the clearance.
