We were going to run
Armageddon but before our group could assemble the Driven Auto Parts
crew pulled up. We decided to run something else to avoid a
big traffic jam so we headed over to Twisted.

I let my friend Yancy
drive the first part of the trail.

Scott was behind my
rig.

Followed by Pat.
Jay got about 10 feet into the trail behind Pat but sheared the
studs to the hub on his rear full floater Toy axle. this
left just 3 of us running the trail.

The big
waterfall/notch is the nastiest obstacle on this trail. It
took me a couple attempts to get into a good position to climb this
one.

Once up, I tried to
keep my drivers side tire high on the wall to avoid dropping it into
the undercut hole. I didn't run it up high enough and got the
front end all bound up with a vertical wall in front of the drivers
side tire. After trying a few maneuvers and heating up the
clutch really good I decided to pull the winch cable.

Scott was up next.
With his shorter wheelbase and a sandy base at the bottom of the
fall his rig wasn't wanting to climb.

We used my rig as an
anchor point so he could get the climb started.

Scott managed to get
the line I wanted to do but then kept going way up the wall.
We all yelled for him to pull in the winch cable to pull the front
end forward. Amazingly this worked and his rig came down
pretty gently.

Pat made it up the
fall but got wedged in pretty good when he got to the top. He
anchored to Scott's rig and winched forward, somehow managing to
carry his drivers side tire over the hole that caused me grief.

Around the next turn.
