April 2003 - Ruby Wash - Page 2
Thanks to the rains there was a lot of new greenery everywhere. As recently as last September this was had a well worn two track trail worn into it, amazing what a good storm can do.
This is another optional section, there is a bypass that follows the wash to the right.
More rocks. Both Nasser and I got hung up in here. I used my high lift to clear the undercarriage and then drove off the jack, Nasser ended up using my rig as a winch point which got pretty interesting. He dragged me back about 7 feet before my rig hit a large boulder, then my front end proceeded to climb skyward until the back of my cage hit the same boulder.
Testing out the new rear suspension.
Dwight took the bypass road but you still need to squeeze thru a few boulders.
