Turkey on the Rocks
2004
Thanksgiving weekend
rolled around and that meant it was time for another Turkey on the
Rocks weekend. My new buggy wasn't done in time so I was going to ride
along and take pictures for the weekend.

Friday night we ran
Terminator and Judgment Day, both uneventful except for one rig
getting laid on it's side.

We got a late start on
Saturday morning due to being up pretty late on Friday. First
up was a trip to Twisted. There was a lot of water flowing in
the river as can be seen above.

Scott and Jack at the
entrance to Twisted.

the notch has been
washed out and is a lot deeper now compared to years past.

Pat at the notch.

Brandon's TJ got some
new battle scars from this one.

Matt at the notch.

You can see in these
pictures how tight the trail is.

Once past the notch
the rest of the trail is pretty easy, the sand level is up pretty
high so a lot of the big holes are gone.

Next we headed over to
Collateral Damage.

The stair step
waterfalls at the start are pretty filled in with dirt from the
rains the last few weeks, nobody got hung up on their frames like
you used to.

The wall, it's pretty
amazing that you can climb something this steep.
