Here are some more pictures from the maiden voyage run.
We had a small group, myself, Jack, Scott, Craig and Scott.
Lower terminator went without a hitch so we headed into Anaconda.
The boulder field at the top of the big chute is a royal pain now! Time for bigger tires.
After Anaconda we had stopped so Scott could replace a broken shackle bolt. Matt noticed his the winch on Scotts rig moved a little more than it should, closer inspection revealed this big crack. The front bumper was being held on by paint! Scott wrapped his winch cable around the bumper and pulled it against the body, he was walking for the rest of the day.
The last trail we ran was Collateral Damage. Same tires and a longer wheelbase meant I still get hung up on the belly at the top of the first group of waterfalls. I managed to bump it and made it by only to flop over.
Working our way up the trail, Scott was working the camera.
This spot is still really nasty, it loads up the front end pretty good....
So much so that Craig busted a CTM while trying to get his 39" Krawler to climb the notch. Not sure if a hatchet is listed in the recommended tools for changing a CTM but it should be.
Craig's second attempt at the obstacle was successful. Afterwards we headed over to the Roadrunner Cafe for some burgers. Good times.
