May 30, 2004 - Florence Junction
With summer nearly upon us it was time to start doing some night wheeling. Scott, Jack and myself headed out to Florence Junction to run some trails on Saturday night. We planned on camping out and then running another trail on Sunday morning. Jack and I made it out a little earlier than Scott on Saturday afternoon so we ran Woody's Wash and then met up with Scott back at camp. We waited till 6pm and then headed out to run Axle Alley first. We went thru quick enough that I didn't get a chance to take any pictures. By this time the sun had set.

On the way back we ran some of the lines in Lower Woodpecker.
The night was perfect sleeping weather, nice and cool but not cold.
