A smooth underbody and less frame
hanging down paid off on the next obstacles, they seemed easier this
time around.

Larry threw down the gauntlet and
made the big tire line to the right.

Pat took the same line I took.

Scott flopped on his first attempt at
the big tire line, he made it on the second attemp.

The line that seemed to work on this
obstacle was not the most obvious.

I think Shane was the only other
person to run the big tire line.

My Dad took all the rest of the
pictures from this trail. It was interesting seeing the
different perspective he managed to capture.

Other than a missing exhaust flange
bolt I think we had no carnage in our group. We made it back to camp
a little past 1pm. After short rest a few of the guys
headed out to try to cross the river.

By the time I arrived, Scott was
across (but nearly swamped his buggy) and Pat was attempting to
cross but was forced to back off as the water rose above his seat
line..

Since he was already wet, Pat decided
to wade upstream to find a safe route. He found a relatively
shallow section up the middle of the river and a spot you could turn
out on several hundred feet away from where Scott came out.

The water was still deep but passible.

Pat still managed to sink it pretty
good, hi buggy looked more like a boat!

Once across we ran part of Anaconda,
then went back to the river before it got to dark to find a
shallower crossing.

After dinner we crossed the river
again to do run some trails that night. It was really dark and
I really didn't get any good pictures since we were moving so fast.
