It's been a week since we had rains
down in the valley but the rivers are still flowing. The main
crossing at Table Mesa road was unpassable. The water had cut
a 3-4 foot deep channel where the road ends.

The club was camping out all weekend,
by late Friday night we had two out of state visitors. On
Saturday we hit Die Hard. Thsi was my first time thru with my
new buggy, I managed to drive the crack line without a spotter for
the first time, being able to see thru the floors helped a lot.
Todd made the trip from Sounthern Calirfornia, he was driving his
Formula Toyota.

After over a year of no wheeling,
Larry managed to get his buggy back together and made it out
Saturday morning to run with us. A hard roll at the last
competition he attended mangled his frame pretty badly requiring a
lot of new tube work to get the cage back into shape.

Shane also made the trip from
Southern California, the track width on his new buggy really made
some of teh obsticles look too easy.

My Dad made a few attempts at this
obstacle before I took over. I never made it in my last buggy,
my spring hangers always hit as I tried to get the front tires up
the wall. I managed to make it this time but it took a lot of
wheelspin, my Claws don't like to hook up when they are wet.

Todd ended up sliding off the line
and need a little tug to continue forward.

Larry crawled the obstacle with a set
of competition claws, Pat also walked it with a set of Pitbull
Maddogs.

Jack and Shane also walked it
although their extra width meant they were on a different line than
the narrower Toyota axled rigs.
