Here are some pictures from this weekend.  There was supposed to be some sort of get together for people from the CrawlingAZ message board but not a single person showed up.  We had 10 rigs in our group so we set out for a day of crawling.

My friend Rob was in town from England so we started on something he hadn't run yet, Collateral Damage.

While climbing the big waterfall on CD I noticed Rob's rear tire start to steer to the passenger side.

The steering motion was a result of his real link bending.  He had a spare and swapped out the bent one in about 20 minutes.

This obstacle is a vertical wall roughly 6 feet high, once you line up for it you are locked into going forward unless you have a 90 degree rear approach angle.

Pat and Jay on the wall.

Full bodied rigs need not apply at the next obstacle.  Once you pass this notch you have to drag your cage against the rocks for a short ways before clearing the wall on the drivers side.

Another fun notch, hit it just right and you will get some air under the tires. Before we got off this trail I had cut a tire and once of the guys behind me also cut a tire both of which required some plugs.

Scott's dog Chopper had Jay under control.

Barry made a new line on the wall, video.

Jason and Scott made an attempt at the wall.  Jason slit a tire and Scott stripped the splines out of one of his drive flanges.

I tried the wall again, this time with less air pressure and about 50lbs of water in the front tires.  My rig was much more stable and I nearly made it but was lacking the power to punch it at the last second.

I strung two of my attempts together into this video.

I eventually went up the normal way.
