Our friends from the 667 Rockers made a trip to Phoenix to run some of our trails and we were happy to return the favor after they showed us around Farmington last year.
Things were much dryer this weekend and the weather was near perfect.
I couldn't get the rear tires to bite on this fall and eventually had to back down and try the bypass.
Rodney nearly had it but had to winch the last little section.
Loren did a backwards roll when the rear tires grabbed suddenly and ended up smashing his Optima battery and air cleaner against the rocks behind him. Luckily the damage wasn't too bad and his rig was drivable once we got him back over.
Jerry nearly had the fall but suffered a rear ring and pinion failure (60HP) just as he started to climb the fall. After letting all the water out of his front tires we were able to drag him out by tying his rig to mine and Rodney's. |
