After the hike we had some lunch and proceeded down the road to see where it ended.

I saw this Gila Monster sunning itself in the middle of the road, we waited till he moved off before proceeding.

Chad's new Jeep did really good in stock form.

By this point the road had ended on the GPS but was still going in the real world.  We bypassed a washed out section buy following the vehicle tracks into this wash.

Just past this the road ended at an old corral.

So it was back the way we came.  We were all amazed that after a day of driving we had only gone 20 miles by the time we got back to where we started.
