We decided to resurrect our annual Log Corral camping trip this year.
The last one was way back in 04 and the lake level was well below 50%.

Beware the tow rig parking area, the area is all decomposed granite and it's
easy to get stuck especially when pulling a loaded trailer.

5 of us set out for the lake on Saturday morning - Myself, Jay, Jack and
Scott. Pat was going to head in later and meet us at the campsite.

The hardest section of the whole trail. I have seen people say you need
rock stacking gloves to make it thru this part, we forgot our rock stacking
gloves at home so had to just drive the correct lines.

Near the Log Corral springs the vegetation gets really dense.
Thankfully the Mesa 4 Wheelers maintain this trail otherwise it would quickly
become impassable.

Once thru the thick stuff the trail turns into a sandy wash. We let
Jack lead the way at this point and met up at the corral at the top of the
valley.
