4 Seater Chassis For Sale
The complete build history can be found starting
with the first link below:
Here
are the most recent pictures. I pulled the front seats to
clean out the interior really good and pulled the driver side panel
off to give a good view of the chassis. All outer tubes are
1.625 x .120 wall DOM tubing. Bracing is a mix of 1.50 and 1"
DOM or ERW tubing. The lower frame rails, nerf bars and front
bumpers has been plated with a slice of 1.875 tubing to resist
denting without adding a lot of weight. I am currently running a S/C
3.8L engine from a Pontiac grand prix connected to a TF904 and Stack
transfer case. A V8 would easily fit and I previously had a 1.6l
four banger with a Toyota 5 speed and dual transfer cases.
Dimensions - Approximately 54" outside to outside and around 125"
long. With 4" tires and the 111" wheelbase shown it has better
than 90 degree departure angles front and rear. I am 5' 10" tall and
can sit easily in the back without being cramped.

I am using as many
parts as possible on the new buggy so if the parts are not included
but you want them I may be willing to sell them depending on where I
am in the new buggy build. As of now the radiator is no longer
available for sale.
Included parts list:
1 PRP bench seat with (1) 4 point harness.

Side panels, hood, fenders panels (not shown), all
interior floors, dash panels (no gauges, switches, wiring, steering
wheels, shifter), rear hard mounted storage box, center console w/
cup holders, fuel cell splash guard, rear storage tray, passenger
grab handle, interior cross brace w/ front seatbelt anchors and hard
mounted air chuck.

The chassis is setup to use a Ron Davis 26 x 19"
radiator (not included), has 2" air bump can mounts installed (bumps
not included) and is setup for 14" Coilovers front and rear (shocks
not included). Up front you can mount any Warn winch and
compatible fairlead (neither included). The chassis will
accept a 10 gallon fuel cell. There are link mounts for a
double triangulated 4 link front and rear (no links or hardware
included).

The rear 27" long sway bar is included with the
chassis since it a hard to source item. You will need to mount it to
your axle.

On the drivers side I have a mount for a single
lever cutting brake (not included) and below the drivers seat is the
battery tray which uses a standard Optima (battery not included).

The engine cage is removable for maintenance
access.

Side shot showing the chassis.

I will be replacing the bent bar behind the
drivers seat before the chassis sells.
Price for all of the above: $3500.
Price without the rear bench or swaybar: $3000
Price with you doing the tube repairs yourself:
$2700.
When will the chassis be available? Money talks,
the sooner I have it the faster the chassis will be available.
Until then I plan on keeping it together so I can move it as needed.
Options that you should seriously consider taking
because this is the stuff you will be buying to install in the
chassis. All these parts will be left installed, prices are
non-negotiable as I can use them. Prices are only good if you buy
the chassis.
