Jay's
Toyota way back in 1987. Jay has extensive
documentation on his personal web page of his build up from his trucks
humble beginnings.

The start of the
ed of the sheetmetal began with the elimination of the stock
pickup bed which was replaced with a square tube bed.

In 2002 Jay did a frame up re-build to eliminate all
of the stock sheetmetal.

A complete accounting of Jay's
buggy build up can be found on
4x4wire.com,
it's a must read if you've ever thought about building a trail rig from scratch.

Jay's most recent update was adding
a 4 link to the rear in late 2006. |
