As long as I have know Jack he has always talked about
building an old Toyota Land Cruiser. He kicked off "Project Crusty
Cruiser" around March 2008 and took two dilapidated Land Cruisers and turned
them into what you see above.

The first part of the project
consisted of correcting all the mistakes from the past owners.

Once the frame was back into shape a
free 10/12 bolt axle combination was bolted to the springs.

The body from the 64 Cruiser ended up
being a little rougher than Jack had hoped for so he picked up this 69 Cruiser
over the summer and ended up using the 64 frame with the 69 body and axles.

The newer body still required
extensive work especially in the cab.

Eventually the drive train was laid in followed by more bodywork.

Systems were mounted and a cage was fabricated.

After getting the body stripped, both the frame and body were sprayed.

The reassembly has begun.
